Jim Donovan

head-Jim-DonovanJim Donovan joined the Indians TV broadcast team in 2006 when SportsTime Ohio brought Indians baseball back to over the air television on WKYC-TV3. He also served as host for expanded STO programming to give Tribe fans even more insight into Indians' games and players. In addition, Donovan hosts STO Browns programming including Browns Training Camp Daily, The Berea Report, Sunday Strategy, Browns Red Zone, and Browns 1-on-1.

Jim Donovan serves as sports anchor for WKYC, Gannett's NBC affiliate in Cleveland, for the weekday 6, 7 and 11 pm news. He joined Channel 3 in March of 1985 as weekend sports anchor. In June of 1999, Jim was named the voice of the Cleveland Browns and does the radio play-by-play announcing for the team.

He has done announcing work for countless national and international events, including the '96 Summer Olympics for NBC/WKYC; in 1994, World Cup Soccer; in 1992, Olympic swimming and soccer competitions for NBC. In addition, he did play-by-play announcing for NBC Sports' NFL games from 1987 to 1997.

Jim resides in Hinckley, OH with his wife Cheryl and daughter Megan.
