3 Questions For The Mike Brown Bashers
May 27, 2009
Three questions for the Cleveland pundits and Cavs fans now piling criticism on head coach Mike Brown after the team’s overtime Game 4 loss to Orlando last night:
1. What exactly can Brown change about the fact that when he looks at his bench, he has:
*Sasha Pavlovic (who can’t be trusted to play consistent defense),
*Boobie Gibson (whose offensive game rarely rises from its season-long, trance-like state),
*Wally Szczerbiak (who has almost no mobility or outside shot),
*Joe Smith (whose impact has been spotty at best),
*Ben Wallace (see Smith), and
*five guys who will only see action if the other Cavs suffer food poisoning (Darnell Jackson, J.J. Hickson, Lorenzen Wright, Tarence Kinsey and Jawad Williams)?
2. Could it be that as well as Cavs general manager Danny Ferry has done in putting together his team, Magic GM Otis Smith has done a better job in putting together HIS?
3. Will anyone bother to acknowledge that “1“ and “2” are very legitimate questions?
