...And 3 Players The Cavs Should Absolutely Not Pursue
June 2, 2009
1. Rasheed Wallace (forward): During the recent Cavs-Detroit playoff series, Wallace did everything but roll over and show his belly like a tame tabby cat.
He showed that little interest - and that little heart.
Anyone who thinks the Cavs should pursue Wallace - and some have been raising that idea - is I-N-S-A-N-E.
2. Carlos Boozer (power forward - and former Cav): No, no, no.
That ship passed years ago.
Plus, Boozer’s body has begun to show signs of breaking down from years of NBA abuse.
3. Ron Artest (forward): OK, it’s true - Artest has been a productive and model citizen with Houston, his latest team.
But, fair or not, something says it’s only a matter of time before Artest has another “I’m turning green!” moment - either on the court or in the press.
No need for that moment to be in Cleveland - and with Artest in a Cavs uniform.
