Just Wondering: Fausto Carmona

It’s pretty obvious that the Indians starter Fausto Carmona has pretty much lost his confidence - for now - on the mound.
Kinda similar to when he lost it during a disastrous attempt to make him a closer back in 2006.
So, here’s a thought:
What, exactly, would it hurt Carmona to have someone like Pedro Martinez as a teammate and pitching mentor right now?
A fellow Domincian pitcher with a proven track record as a tough-minded competitor who inspires those on his team - and intimidates those who aren’t.
A future Hall of Famer?
A guy who’s available and still appears to have a lot left as a pitcher.
And a guy who could not only help Carmona - but help the Indians in general as they desperately attempt to stay in contention?
Hmmm.
